Building Community from the Inside Out

Heart for Bakersfield 2020

Garden Pathways was honored to virtually host the HEART FOR BAKERSFIELD event on May 19, 2020. We celebrated COVID Heroes, people and groups who have made a difference during the COVID-19 outbreak.
  • Healthcare
  • First Responders
  • Education
  • Volunteers
  • Businesses

Guests enjoyed the music of Amy Adams & The Rising Stars from the comfort of their homes.

Our sponsors were given the option of designating their sponsorship in the name of a “COVID hero” from one of the five categories (seen above). During the live event, we highlighted a representative from each category and celebrated all of our heroes.

Before the virtual event, everyone was invited to visit the Garden Pathways Facebook page to honor a COVID hero!

Proceeds benefit Garden Pathways mentoring and educating programs for at-risk and low-income families and youth.
